Ready to leave that rental and embark on the journey to find first home? Why don't we do that together? I'm going to take you through the process from start to finish, but first I'd like you to have all your ducks in a row to make it a seamless transaction.
Purchasing your first home should be an exciting chapter in your life - not stressful. As Realtor, I'll be with you to minimize stress and maximize excitement.
As a prelude, there are important questions to consider:
What do you think when you imagine your "first home"?
Is that dream in alignment with your budget?
Prior to the home search, clients should meet with a mortgage broker or there financial institution to determine affordability. I don't want to take you to homes that you truly cannot afford. The information you gather from that meeting is important. You should get two documents, a mortgage pre-approval letter and a pre-approval worksheet. The pre-approval worksheet outlines all costs associated with the purchase of a new home, as well as your estimated mortgage payment.
Planning as above will give you confidence and help you determine a realistic price for your new home.
